Gaylia Campbell

Gaylia Campbell is Vice President of Quality & Mission Success for Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Missiles and Fire Control business area. In this capacity, she is responsible for ensuring the quality of all Missiles and Fire Control products meets or exceeds the requirements of the warfighter.

Previously, Ms. Campbell was Director of Patriot Advanced Capability-3(PAC-3) Evolutionary Development Programs for Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Missiles and Fire Control from April 2010 to October 2013. In this capacity, she was responsible for the evolutionary development of the PAC-3 missile segment including redesigns of subsystems to address obsolescence, performance improvements, flight tests, and development of adjacent market opportunities. Prior to that assignment, Ms. Campbell was Director of PAC-3 Production for Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Missiles and Fire Control. In that role, she was responsible for all aspects of PAC-3 Production from June 2007 to April 2010. PAC-3 Production consists of production at four Lockheed Martin sites as well as management of seventeen major suppliers.

She previously served as Senior Program Manager for PAC-3 FY04 and FY05 Production Contracts for Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Missiles and Fire Control. In that role, she was responsible for all aspects of the PAC-3 FY04 and FY05 Production contracts from September 2005 to June 2007.

Ms. Campbell started her career with Lockheed Martin Corporation, beginning with increasing roles of responsibility in software engineering on programs such as Army Tactical Missile System (TACMS), Line of Sight Anti-Tank System (LOSAT) and High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and has held key leadership positions in the Software Process Group and Strategic Planning. Throughout her career, she participated in key initiatives for the company including the Employer of Choice council, the Diversity Ambassador program, and the Cultural Optimization Executive Steering Committee. Ms. Campbell is also the executive sponsor of the Women’s Success Network, an MFC employee resource group.

Ms. Campbell graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a Master’s of Science in Business Management. She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University.
