Her role includes the evaluation of internal and external talent, delivering new sourcing strategies and evolving technologies which will bring greater efficiencies to the recruiting processes, and insuring that HSNi as an Employment Brand, remains on the cutting edge of acquiring talent in the market place for future brand growth and success.

After a successful career in the retail industry as a merchant with many well known retailers. Sandy decided to make a career change and joined HSN in 1998 as the Director of Merchant Training .After further assessing the organization in this area, it was determined that the real need of the organization was recruiting the right talent for the business and not training. Soon after because of business experience in the retail world, she was offered an opportunity to oversee recruiting for the Merchandising and Marketing teams. Eventually, her role grew and she took on the additional responsibility of Television and Hsn.com ,as well the responsibility for overall talent management of all these teams.

As HSN continued to evolve, the need to separate Talent Acquisition and Talent Management became obvious. Sandy was offered the opportunity to focus solely on building a corporate recruiting team who would implement recruiting strategies, technologies and processes in order to attract and acquire the needed talent for the organization.
All recruitment, including Call Center and Fulfillment Center were added to the scope of her responsibility.

As business goals and market positioning changed for HSN, so did the talent needs. The market and business needs required a greater focus be placed on the talent needs at the executive level positions. As a result, the Executive Talent Acquisition function was established under Sandy’s leadership. Today she is the VP Executive Talent Acquisition for HSNi.

Sandy has been a board member for the Dress for Success Organization since May 2013.

Sandy graduated with a BS Marketing from St. John’s University, Peter J. Tobin, College of Business.
