Jonathon May has worked in Higher Education for fourteen years advocating for the inclusion of diverse student populations. Currently he serves as the Director of Student Affairs & Chair of Multicultural Affairs at Nova Southeastern University. He received his BA in Sociology and Religion from the University of Mary Washington. He went on to receive his MA Degree in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University. Currently he is completing his Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Leadership at Nova Southeastern University. His dissertation focuses on qualitative research methods and the lived experiences of transgender students in college. He is an advocate and activist for LGBT rights in housing, employment and public accommodations.
