Rolddy LeyvaRolddy Leyva is Vice President, Global Diversity for Sodexo. Sodexo is a leading provider of Quality of Life Services with $24 billion in consolidated annual revenue and over 440,000 employees in 80 countries serving 75 million customers daily.

Mr. Leyva is responsible for providing diversity counsel and leadership to the presidents and executive teams of Sodexo’s business in the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland. He and his team partner with Sodexo’s global leadership teams to develop and deploy highly customized diversity plans to enhance talent and business development in his region and advance Sodexo’s positioning as a global leader in workplace and marketplace diversity and inclusion.

Mr. Leyva has been a featured speaker and panelist on numerous diversity and inclusion regional and national conferences in both the private and public sectors, and he has contributed to several diversity benchmarking and best practices publications.

Mr. Leyva joined Sodexo in 2006 as a Senior Director of Staffing and Performance Planning for the Corporate Services Market where he led the development and implementation of the talent management processes for a Division of over 15,000 employees.

Prior to joining Sodexo, Mr. Leyva spent six years as Director of Human Resources &
Workplace Consulting with Capital One Financial Services where he designed and deployed a management recruiting strategy for the company’s Hispanic Line of Business, developed the company’s formalized Flexible Work Arrangement program, and developed the company’s first executive diversity development program. Prior to joining Capital One, Mr. Leyva spent six years with Anheuser-Busch Companies where he held a variety of roles within Human Resources, including launching an international recruiting strategy for the company’s entertainment subsidiary.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Mr. Leyva immigrated to the United States in1980 where he went on to become a graduate of the University of Central Florida. He presently resides in Washington, D.C.
