Joseph Conrod Sr. has been employed by Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital for the past six years. At this well-renown, large and complex organization, Joseph is responsible for a variety of initiatives including Diversity, Organizational Development, and Employee Relations.

Joseph is an advocate for using human resources and business related metrics to drive change and has provided leadership as an analyst and consultant. He has over fifteen years of experience in diversity and inclusion among other business drivers. He has worked in several capacities in several structures including the affiliate, divisional, regional and corporate levels. He is a true visionary and shares the company’s strategy on elevating standards to an exceptional level.

Joseph was formally employed by SSM Health Care for 24 years; a large health care system based in the mid-west. SSM Health Care was the first health care winner of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award, the highest award achievable in the United States for quality. Joseph was instrumental with assisting in achieving this award by providing leadership, consultation and analytics in system-wide human resources measurements.

He focuses on using company culture in recruitment and retention initiatives to create a sustaining competitive advantage and utilizing data and analytics in driving business results. He believes in providing resources in analytics to making fact based decisions.

Joseph has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Masters of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University, based in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) and Webster University Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and AMIKids YES, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping youth develop into responsible and productive citizens.
