As Vice President, Carol is responsible for the strategic and financial development of the comprehensive Lung Health Program, Emergency and Critical Care Services, Imaging Services as well as the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute at South Miami Hospital. Most of these multifaceted services are comprised of inpatient and outpatients care. These programs are structured to provide a continuum of care for the patients transitioning them out of the hospital and following them home to wellness. This includes such complimentary services as the wound care program, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, advanced heart failure clinic, pulmonary hypertension clinic and the burn center programs.
