Special Agent Arnold Smalley, aka Arnel Smalls, was raised in Central Ohio. He graduated from Muskingum University with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 1990. Following a managerial position in the sports industry, Arnold transitioned to a career in federal law enforcement in 1992. He served as a Special Agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). In this position, Arnold participated in numerous undercover operations, hence the name “Arnel Smalls”. He assisted in significant investigations, including the Oklahoma City Bombing and the Olympic Bombing in Atlanta. In addition to investigative roles, he was also the South Eastern Regional Recruiter for Special Agents and Inspectors. Following a 25 year career with ATF, Special Agent Smalley retired in 2017. During the last four years as an ATF Agent, Arnold has also been a private consultant for diversity training. The training focused on workplace diversity and inclusion, generational diversity, cultural competency, sexual harassment prevention, conflict resolution and much more. In 2017, Arnold, as CEO, founded Small World Solutions, Inc., a corporate training business, which includes diversity, customer service, prevention of workplace violence, time management, leadership, as well as other related topics.
