He is an Associate Professor and Director of the master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Florida. His research focuses on intersectionality of identity, traumatic stress, and health outcomes. He is specifically interested in the ways in which culturally diverse, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people negotiate their identities and manage their health
