Glen Hadwen is the Sustainability Manager for the City of Fort Lauderdale, leading the City¹s Sustainability and Climate Resilience Group. Prior to joining Fort Lauderdale in 2014, he was the Manager of the City of Miami Office of Sustainable Initiatives. His work has addressed development and implementation of sustainability action plans, energy conservation programs, green building, urban forestry and climate adaptation. Glen has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009 and has served on the Board of Directors of the South Florida Chapter of the US Green Building Council. In 2009, Glen was appointed to the Energy and Climate Technical Advisory Committee for the STAR Community Index. He has worked professionally in the environmental field for over 20 years. He received his Master of Science in Environmental Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
