LGBT Welcome in St. Petersburg, FL

Somethings brewing in the Grand Central District of St. Petersburg, Fla. A new LGBT welcome center and coffee house is in the works in one of the communitys finest areas. The center is welcoming of all who want to come in for coffee, business, wifi or any of the other amenities that will be offered. The house will also focus on providing a safe destination for homeless LGBT youth.

Metro Wellness partnered with various other sponsors to begin creating a house for locals and travelers alike to obtain information regarding the community and services. The vision is of Director of Travel Gay Tampa Bay & the LGBT Welcome Centers Larry Biddle. Mr. Biddle is dedicated to opening this house to support a community that is void of sexual orientation, religious, gender identity or ethnic intolerance.

The welcome center also plans to teach homeless youth a skill while going to school in order to gain the ability to progress forward to bigger and brighter things such as college or obtaining knowledge in a high demand skill or trade. The house will allow a space for youth to be themselves with their peers and not worry about being bullied. With 40 percent of homeless youth being LGBT, the house will surely provide for teens a place to rest their head and to find support and a path to an enriched life.

The Metro Wellness LGBT Welcome Center and Coffee House will be opening soon to offer place for everyone to gather for work or pleasure and to help enrich a life as well.
